SANJAY DUTT AND HIS ORDEAL BY FIRE

The die hard fans of Sanjay Dutt can sigh a relief for the clean chit given by the TADA court on the accusation of his being a terrorist. In fact, few people could buy the argument that Dutt junior was a terrorist, though few would disagree with his wayward behaviour in the past. But it was incredible to believe that he would dare to join the anti-nationals to destabilize the republic and kill the fellow countrymen.

The announcement of the TADA court was received with awe for acquitting him in the major charge. Dutt the junior has been trying to endear himself before the public eye to clear himself of the terrorist tag. Late Shri Sunil Dutt, however, is not so lucky to witness the exoneration of the terrorist’s tag of his prodigal son who gave social and political nightmares to the former during his life-time. Perhaps, his soul may be relieved with the court room developments, though Sanjay is sure to serve a jail term under the Arms Act despite the prayers of his fans to the contrary. His example must be a lesson for all those in the tinsel town to stay clear of all controversies and stay away from the shady elements which are the usual pitfalls of the film world..
