SALAM GEORGE BUSH

Mr. George Bush, who demitted his office on 20th January,2009, is singularly unfortunate to have earned the ignominy of being an ineffective President. The floundering American economy and the self-defeating foreign policy are attributed to Mr Bush. But, can someone assert that any other president would have acted differently given the administrative mechanism prevailing there? The economic reverses cannot be attributed to him alone since the current economic mess the whole world is undergoing must be a phase of economic cycle. The foreign policy failures also cannot be put in his account alone since there is a team of foreign policy experts to advise the president on the pros and cons of the policy decisions. If the president can be considered failed, the entire US machinery must also be considered as ineffectual in advising the president Precisely, due to this reason his tenure manifested pronounced failures. The leader is as good as his team. Perhaps, Mr Bush has failed to pick correct advisors and the Secretaries. However, he can be said to have frittered away the sympathy and the unprecedented groundswell of American support following the 9/11 events due to some reasons not yet known. The wrong allies like Pakistan also ditched him at his hour of reckoning in his famous Fight against Terror.
